“Positive deviance” is rule-breaking that is productive rather than destructive. In my mission to Make Impact, I've come across many stories of people who broke in a way that resulted in positive change.
As a child, I was always pushing boundaries and breaking rules in order to stand up for myself! When two little boys started pulling on my pigtails and making fun of me at church, I decided to never let anyone pick on me again (Yep, that is me in the pigtails). Since then, I encourage everyone I meet to be a rule-breaker for the greater good! Sometimes, you have to break the rules to start a fire and Make Impact. 😈
Are you struggling with juggling how to make everyone in your life happy? The first thing y'all need to accept is that not everyone is going to like you, but that is OKAY! If you can accept that and continue to love yourself, who you are & what you are doing, then the world is your oyster!
I always tell people to shrug off people's negative opinions about you and focus on being yourself - not on pleasing others. ✨ At the end of the day remember who you are, love that person hard and never apologize for being you. 💜

Happy Father's Day! I'm proud to showcase my Father on this day and am so grateful for all of the Dad's out there who have loved their families and given strength, loyalty, dedication, provision. They are truly to be admired!
My passion for helping others can be attributed to my roots. My father served our nation for many years and instilled powerful morals into our lives from a young age. My father is my hero. I personally adore my Dad. His support and love has meant everything to me. He has always been there to lend a helping hand and has been an excellent role model. He had me with him at the USAF flightlines on the different bases he was stationed to, and that is why I know and adore the fighter jets!
Smiling is such a powerful, authentic expression. But know that not everyone deserves your smile, so smile for yourself and have fun while doing it! 😁
For National Smile Power Day, take a moment and stop to SMILE for you! A smile has proven to boost morale and build confidence. From the first good morning greeting until you say goodnight at the end of the day, present yourself with a smile. And don't just smile because you think it is the right thing to do. Instead, smile from your own heart Make Impact on yourself!
Princess Diana changed many lives by sharing her personal struggles with mental health. Her honesty helped chip away at the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraged others to seek help.
In my own mission to Make Impact, I pride myself on complete honesty and transparency with y'all. I do what I want to do, not what people expect from me! And I encourage y'all to check in and have honest conversations with your own friends and family.

Y'all know how much I LOVE my little pups! And that I would rescue or foster all the pets in the world if I could. June is National Foster a Pet Month and I ask those who are able to do so, to help 🐶❤️🐱
In fact, one of my precious pups was a rescue! On NYE a few years ago I was driving along the highway in the pouring rain and spotted little Evie Diana all by herself. You know I about jumped out of my seat trying to save her from oncoming cars. She's been a part of my family ever since.
Each year, approximately 1.5 million shelter animals are euthanized (670,000 dogs and 860,000 cats). If less than 2% of the 85 million pet-owning households in the U.S. fostered one pet a year, we could eliminate preventable euthanasia tomorrow!! Make the right choice TODAY, visit your local shelter's website or call to find out how you can Make Impact on a furry friend or two.
